Parent Coaching & Consulting

Using the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

About Parent Coaching & Consulting

Parent Coaching Using ABA Principles

Parents and caregivers should be familiar with the goals and interventions used to teach the different skills. This is important as it helps achieve generalization and transfer of the goals into other life environments. During Parent Coaching, a Behavior Analyst works directly with the parents or caregivers to discuss current goals and achievements. We will assist in teaching those targets as well as explaining the purpose of them. We’ll work ensure caregivers are prepared to handle current & future behaviors in the best way to get the best results.

During coaching and consultation, parents can present different challenges experienced in everyday life. When parents discuss behaviors of concern, the Behavior Analyst can provide feedback and training regarding the best interventions to achieve the desired results.
